Pizza for Kids

Does your children love pizza? My 23 month-old daughter, Katie, definitely does. Every time the toaster oven dings, she says ‘Pizz!’, even though it may not be pizza.

Katie normally eats pepperoni pizza Lunchables. I wanted to find a different way to make homemade pizza that can be quickly made. I came up with three different variations: pizza quesadilla, pizza toast, and pizza triangles.

Pizza Quesadilla
Pizza Toast
Pizza Triangles

Below are the basic ingredients and you can add whatever toppings you would like.

Ingredients:
1 tortilla or slice of bread
pizza sauce
meat (pepperoni, ham, or turkey) (chopped)
mozzarella cheese (shredded)

Directions:
1. Spread pizza sauce on tortilla or slice of bread.
2. Slice tortilla in triangles for pizza triangles.
3. Place meat and cheese on top of pizza sauce.
4. Put in toaster oven for 5 minutes.

Hope your children enjoy the pizza!
