You Make Me Smile

When I first think about the word ‘smile’ and what really makes me smile, I’m reminded of the the song, ‘You Make Me Smile‘ by Uncle Kracker. Not only do I love the song, but this song is one of my husband and I’s songs. This became ‘our song’ when we started dating. Every time I hear this song on the radio or Pandora, a big smile comes on my face. I can’t help but sing with the lyrics. Listening to this song reminds me how much I love my husband.

‘Strawberry Swing‘ by Coldplay also puts a big smile on my face. This is my husband and I’s second song. This song is full of memories for us. While my husband proposed to me, he had ‘Strawberry Swing’ playing in the background. Whenever I hear this song, I’m reminded of that day he asked me to be his wife and I said yes.
