True Love Thursday is a weekly post series on the subject of love. I’ll talk about loving yourself and others to ways to making yourself a better person.
Welcome to another day of the All You Need Is Love Project by Carmen at ShuGar Love.
This week’s topic is: Post anything your heart desires about love. Check out last week’s topic.
Since I can post anything, I’m going to share with you my husband and I’s trip to Minneapolis, MN for our honeymoon in January 2011.
We stayed in a suite at The W – Foshay Tower. Below are lots of pictures of our suite.
We have a great view outside our suite windows. The scenery was especially pretty at night.
My husband took a glass from the bar in our suite and put our rings inside to get couple close up photos. I especially love the first photo with Minneapolis in the background.
My husband and I did lots of sight seeing while in Minneapolis. We went to the Sculpture Garden. We saw the giant spoon with the cherry on top and other sculptures.
We of course had to go shopping at Ikea. While we were at it, we ate breakfast there before we went shopping.
As you may know, we love sushi. We ate sushi at Fujiya and Origami while we were in Minneapolis. We also ate at the Cheesecake Factory and several other places.
As we started to head back home, it started to snow. A 8 hour drive turned into a 11.5 hour drive.
Where did you go for your honeymoon?
I live in Minneapolis, so it was fun to read this post. I’m glad you had a good time here (despite the long drive). Thanks for linking with Pin Your Friday Favorite 🙂
Minneapolis is a great place to go on vacation. We went their for our vacation last year. We’ll probably go again next year. We try to go their every two years or so.
looks like a great time, and what a swank hotel! i’ve never been there.
The suite was very awesome! Plus we got a discount on the room.
Beautiful hotel. I am sure you enjoyed your honeymoon! Thank you for sharing this post at City of Creative Dream’s City of Links on Friday! I appreciate you taking the time to party with me. Hope to see you again this week 🙂
Thanks! It was a pretty sweet suite.
