Do you have a theme in your kids’ bedroom?
Before my oldest daughter, Katie, was born, the bedroom was a princess theme. We turned a fake fireplace into a castle. We added fun wall decor and a fun princess and the frog rug. Since then, two more girls, Sophia and Elizabeth, entered the room.
We still have some of the pieces, but have also added to it. We’ve added a Disney theme to the bedroom. Katie has Ariel, Cinderella, and Rapunzel sheets and comforter along with a Cinderella canvas. Sophia has Frozen sheets and comforter with a Elsa canvas. Elizabeth has a Minnie Mouse sheets and comforter.
I eventually want to revamp my girls’ whole room with a theme that goes well with each other and all three of them will love. I also want a theme that they will love even when my girls are little bit older.
When it comes to kids’ bedrooms, I love Target’s Pillowfort bedroom collections. My girls would love any of their collections.
I was browsing the collections and found many that I loved. Below are 4 of my favorite Pillowfort bedroom collections for girls.
4 Pillowfort Bedroom Collections for Girls
1. Floral Rainforest Collection. This collection is so cute. I love the floral pattern mixed with the prints. If your daughter(s) loves animals, floral, and prints, they’ll love this collection. This collection would be perfect for a Spring look for your daughter’s bedroom. I know my girls would love this collection.
The floral rainforest collection has several pieces that I’m loving. I love their spotted sheets that goes with the floral and spotted comforter. To tie into the theme, the Adventure starts here pillow and the zebra pillow would look great on the bed. To add some fun decor, the lion mirror and sloth lamp would look cute in the bedroom. You can check out all the pieces in the floral rainforest collection here.
2. Fun Fair Collection. This collection is super adorable. The patterns of the dots and stripes make the bedroom really fun. If your daughter(s) love dots, stripes, cats, and elephants, this is perfect for them. My youngest, Elizabeth, especially loves cats. She would really love this collection.
The fun fair collection has several very fun and cute pieces. The kitty pillow would look great on the bed with the dotted sheets and striped blanket. Aren’t the kitty and elephant stuffed animals so adorable? I love the dress the kitty is wearing. The bunny mirror also would look really cute in the bedroom. You can check out all the pieces in the fun fair collection here.
3. Pink and Gold Collection. This collection would be perfect for a older girl’s bedroom. I love the sparkly gold color with the pink. If your daughter(s) loves gold, sparkle, unicorns, and bunnies, they would love this collection.
The pink and gold collection has several gold pieces that I love. These gold pieces would look great with a pop of pink. The Sparkle pillow and unicorn stuffed animal would be perfect on the bed with the jewel sheets and star comforter. The unicorn nightlight would give an extra light to the bedroom. The gold polka dot and white basket would be a great spot to store stuffed animals or other toys. I have all several baskets in this pattern in my girls’ room. I have couple cubed baskets that are gold and pink and three smaller baskets that are gold and white. You can check out all the pieces in the pink and gold collection here.
4. Lovely Lagoon Collection. This collection would be perfect for a girl would loves anything to do with mermaids. I’m loving the aqua color in the collection. My older two daughters, Katie and Sophia, are really loving mermaids right now.
The lovely lagoon collection has several pieces that ties in with the mermaid theme. I love the aqua comforter with the mermaid sheets. The mermaid stuffed animal and mermaid pillow would look great on the bed. To make the bedroom even more fun, you can hang the mermaid picture along with the dream big wall decor on the wall. I love Pillowfort! We have a lot of items from their collections in both kids’ rooms and their bathroom. My daughter’s room is pale pink, gray, and gold so so many Pillowfort pieces work. I love how you changed that fireplace into a princess castle. So creative!
Yesssssssssss I absolutely love that brand at target. It actually came from Australian style kids decor which I love and my favorite is the lagoon one. My 10 year old has an ocean theme in her room so we are going to be adding some new accents from this collection
My daughter would love these rooms especially the mermaid room.
The pillow fort is such a great brand! I love target because they have such great selections!!
It’s all so adorable, I can’t even choose a favorite! The bedspread with the gold stars is pretty amazing.
I love them all! I know my daughter would be giddy over the lagoon mermaid collection.
I love the floral and mermaid rooms!
All of these are so cute, but I think the floral rainforest collection is my favorite! Love the bright colors of the second one too.
Target always has the cutest stuff! Also, turning that fake fireplace into a castle was totally genius!
This collection is the absolute cutest!
Oh my goodness, these are so gorgeous!! As my girls get older, I’m starting to think about doing something cute and elegant like this!!
Oh my goodness, so hard to choose. I love pieces from every collection!
Your princess castle made out of the fireplace is too creative and cute! I recently purchased a blush pink quilt from Target for my room and love it! It makes me sad to think about changing my babies’ rooms from nursery-like to big boy/girl rooms, but we have already made a couple changes in one of the rooms. It’s still a mix of a little of both!
OH I love these all, I so wish I had a little girl sometimes.
My favorite is the fair collection. I love the stripes, polka dots and especially the pillow cases. So fun for little girls.
