Featured Fashion Blogger – Love, Iris

Fashion Friday is a weekly post series on the subject of fashion and beauty. I’ll talk about items that I find or want for my wardrobe to ways to beautify yourself to featuring fashion bloggers.

This week I am featuring a fashion blogger on the blog. Meet Iris at Love, Iris. I found Iris’ blog few weeks ago and fell in love with her blog. She posts fashionable outfits that she wears plus items that are essential for different seasons. I look forward each day to read posts from Love, Iris.

I asked Iris several questions to help us get to know her better.

1. Tell me little bit about yourself.

I’m Iris, I was born in Romania and came to Utah when I was like 1 (basically american LOL). I have done ice skating since I was about 5 years old, became really good at it, went to the opening and closing ceremonies in 2012 in SLC, UT and had so much fun. I got my Associates in High School in the Physical Therapy Assistant Department, and I work part time as a PTA with kids and adults that are autistic. I’m still going to school as a pre-med student. I have always been a huge fan of the health field and thought, I can become a doctor, but if my fashion blog can turn into a job I would totally do that, but that’s just a future goal of mine! 🙂

2. Why do you blog?

I always was getting asked what I was wearing everyday at work or at school, or my friends were always wondering where did you get that dress and so on, and I was like I think it would be much easier if I make a fun fashion blog where people can find what I’m wearing and just have a little bit fun with dressing up. So I started doing a couple outfit post’s and then I was like this is actually fun, and you could possibly make this into a business in the future. I have loved it ever since I started and I’m so thankful of what opportunities I have worked with and it’s just a blast!!!

3. What is your favorite fashion trend?

I’m really digging the flared dresses or skirts lately, I probably wear them way too much, but it’s so much fun. I love the dresses or skirts that have the tulle underneath so it flares out more, like my Peter Pilotto dress from target.

4. What fashion trend haven’t you tried yet that you would love to try?

I really want to do the romper trend, but I don’t know if I could pull it off, or if they would even fit me right since I’m way too tall. Also I want to try like burgundy or red lips, thought those colors would be fun but a little scary! Yikes! I will have to see and hopefully it works out great! 🙂
