True Love Thursday is a weekly post series on the subject of love. I’ll talk about loving yourself and others to ways to making yourself a better person.
Welcome to another day of the All You Need Is Love Project by Carmen at ShuGar Love.
This week’s topic is: Post anything your heart desires about love. Check out last week’s topic.
Since I can post anything, I’m going to write about my love to celebrate. Why? I thought it would be perfect, because my birthday is today! I’m officially 26 year old.
Do you know why I love to celebrate? I get to celebrate everything with my husband, Kyle. Holidays, our anniversary, and even our birthdays. My husband’s birthday is tomorrow. I love that our birthdays are back to back. It’s so fun to celebrate our birthdays together.
How do you celebrate? Sushi is our way of celebrating. We go to the sushi restaurant whenever we celebrate something such as our anniversary and our birthdays. We also went there to celebrate when we found out we were having girls during my first and second pregnancy.
Today, we are going to celebrate our birthdays together by going out on a date for lunch. We are going to eat lots of sushi. Maybe we’ll get the love boat to share. My favorite is the fresh salmon. We will also get ice cream and will be sung ‘Happy Birthday’ in Japanese.
Last year for our birthdays, we had sushi on both days. We love sushi so much that we ate it two days in a row. The sushi chef made us something special each day on our birthdays.
Happy birthday to me today! Happy birthday to my husband, Kyle, tomorrow! Let the celebrating begin.
Do you love to celebrate? Do you have a certain place you go to when you celebrate?
Happy birthday, again! Hope you and the hubby have a wonderful time.
For me, it’s all about spending time with those you love, regardless of the location.
Thanks! We had a great time! I agree about the spending time with those you love part. I enjoy being with my husband to celebrate my birthday. Without him, it wouldn’t be the same.
Happy birthday to you! Yay! Wishing you the happiest of days. I too love any excuse to celebrate =)
Thank you so much!
Oh, my favorite thing to do is to discover a new L.A. restaurant. There are so many to go to with the yummiest of food.
I always enjoy new places also. We have a fairly new pizza place that opened up and it’s so good. It’s Katie’s favorite place to eat.
Happy Birthday again!
I’ve never been a big fan of sushi but your pictures are sure making me want some! 🙂
Thanks! Sushi is soooooooooo good! You can start off simple when you first try. There is a sweet potato roll that is really good that you should try.
