On October 21, my daughter, Katie, turned 3 years old. I can’t believe how fast the time as gone by. Katie has changed so much within the past year.

I have started a tradition since my girls were born by creating an album after their birthday on Shutterfly.com. It is fun to go through pictures of the past year and remember those different moments. Have you made an album on Shutterfly before?

If you haven’t, you should. It’ll be great for your kids to look at when they are older. Creating an album on Shutterfly is very easy. There are different themes to choose from and you can edit each page according to how you would like it to look. The whole process of creating an album is so fun.

What should go on each page? In my girls’ year 1 albums, each month of the year is on one or two pages plus couple pages for the birthday party and birthday photoshoot. You can see Katie’s year 1 album here. For the other years after one, each page is a certain theme such as eating, sleeping, playing, Daddy/daughter date, etc.

I finished Katie’s year 3 album couple weeks ago and received her album in the mail last week. I love how her album turned out. The album is now displayed on my built-in bookshelf.

Also check out Katie’s year 2 album and see how much she has changed in the last year.

Create an album today for your child or any event! Make sure to look out for great sales.

  1. This is such a beautiful way to look back! I remember looking at pictures with my grandmother all the time. Yes, all the time. If Shutterfly was around then, she would have loved it!
