How do you store your jewelry? What are the best ways for you to keep your jewelry organized?
I shared with you on the blog in a different post on jewelry organization. I kept my jewelry in three separate containers. The containers had designs on it and the jewelry was able to be displayed on my dresser.
It worked for me. I loved how my jewelry looked in the containers. But I had one problem. Cats. I had one cat who would for some reason push the container with my earrings off of the dresser. Earrings everywhere. There were multiple times that I had to put each earring where it belonged in the container.
Something needed to change. I didn’t want to have to be constantly picking up my earrings off of the floor.
That is why I really love my mint jewelry boxes on my dresser. It contains all of my jewelry without any cats knocking any onto the floor.
I got the mint jewelry box for Christmas couple years ago from my husband. I instantly loved it! Plus the color! My husband knows I love the color mint. He bought the jewelry box from TJ Maxx.
When I was at Target, I found this smaller mint and white box. I knew it would be perfect to store my bracelets. Plus it matched the mint jewelry box that I already had.
The mint jewelry box has many areas to store jewelry including on the top and front drawers. I store some of my necklaces, earrings, rings, and watches in the top. In the front drawers, I store the rest of my necklaces. I organize my necklaces and earrings by color.
The small mint and white box works great for my bracelets. I organize my bracelets by size. My bigger bracelets are in the back of the box. The smaller ones are in the front and organized by color.

I love the pop of mint color! I had one like the larger one as a child…wish I had held on to it now! I use several different spaces but am looking for better options when we complete our master bedroom! Best idea I’ve had is actually the top drawer of plastic storage drawers. I placed a towel in the bottom and lined my necklaces in the drawer. The towel keeps them from sliding and getting tangled. My everyday and smaller pieces I keep on a plate on the dresser (I do worry about our dogs and son knocking it off though…I’d be mortified).

I love all the storage options in this jewelry box. Great idea about the towel. I loved displaying my jewelry, but with animals, it can be hard to do.

I need a way to store my items I don’t hang because they end up on the floor too! However, not because of cats, but due to a little boy in my home who loves shiny things! I also find that my jewelry that isn’t covered gets so dusty! Love these mint jewelry boxes so I’m going to have to search for something like them!
My girls would now and then take my jewelry from my dresser too. I told them they couldn’t play with them. TJ Maxx is a great place to look for nice jewelry boxes.
These are really gorgeous boxes. So much better than the way I have mine organized. All of my necklaces are hanging on a key hanger on my wall and bracelets, rings, and earrings are stuffed into an extra cosmetics case I have. I like these boxes much better. It reduces the clutter and still keeps everything super organized.
I love them! It keeps everything stored nicely and I can find what I need right away.
Oh my goodness this organization is beautiful. I have a big jewelry armoire that I bought at a flea market years and years ago but sometimes it’s a pain to put everything away. This looks much easier. Love it.

Isn’t it just like a cat to knock things off the dresser?! It’s only funny once though if you’re having to pick up earrings each and every time. I love these boxes and the way you have them organized is fantastic! Not to mention, mint is one of my favorite colors. I finally started organizing my stuff in hanging bags that have different little pockets. It hangs in my closet so I can easily get to it.
Of course. He’s very much of a digger. He loves to chew on new packages of paper towels and toilet paper too. I have to put it away right away so he doesn’t get into it. Mint is just a great color! Nice idea to hang your jewelry.

I love these jewelry boxes! The color is SO gorgeous. I definitely need to invest in some storage myself, since I only have very small trays and my jewelry is always getting tangled!
Tangled jewelry is the worst! Trays work for awhile until things gets tangled.

Very pretty storage for your jewelry! You have so many lovely pieces. Too funny about your cat knocking your earrings down all the time. 🙂 I store my earrings in a shadow box so I can see everything and just poke them into the foam. I have a T-style bracelet holder and I just slide them on and off. My necklaces are stored on mounted curtain rods and hung on shower curtain rings. Thanks for linking up with Fabulous Friday!
