Valentine’s Day

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Today is the day of love. Today is the day people show their affection to those that they love. They give others flowers, chocolate, other candy, or other gifts.

Valentine’s Day may not be very important to some people. Especially those who don’t have someone to share the day with.

But Valentine’s Day shouldn’t only be about showing your love to your significant other. Show your family and friends that you love and care about them. Also, you should love yourself. It is harder to show others that you love them if you don’t love yourself first. You have to love yourself for who you are. Check out my post on loving your body.

There are also ways that children show others that they love them. It can be as simple as making a card.

Yesterday, I made Valentine cards for my daughters Katie and Sophia to give. I folded a piece of paper and drew a half of a heart. I then cut out the heart, so when the card opens, it’s a full heart. Katie had so much fun coloring the cards. Daddy loved his card the girls gave him. I know the others will love the cards as well.
