Raise your hand if you love to do dishes………How many of you raised your hand? I bet not very many of you did. I definitely didn’t.
Dishes aren’t that fun. Especially when dishes start to pile up like the picture below.
Dishes piling up happens way to many times to my liking. It can be a pain to get the dishes done when that happens. It seems like the process of doing the dishes takes forever.
What is the key to less of a headache caused by dishes? For me, it helps to washes dishes every day. Plus washing dishes doesn’t take as long since there are less dishes to wash. When dishes pile up, it can take up to an hour to get the kitchen all cleaned up.
When I miss a day of washing dishes, all hell breaks loose so to speak. Dishes pile up again. Ugh. And I just had a clean kitchen. Then it’s back to trying to catch up again and wash dishes every day.
One thing that I love having in my kitchen is a dishwasher. I’m glad I don’t have to scrub every piece of dishes. There are certain items that I hand wash instead of putting in the dishwasher, such as my girls’ dishes, knifes, and pots and pans.
So how are dishes done right? Would you like to know some techniques on making the most out of your dishwasher?
I was contacted by Aldo Baker who teamed up with PartSelect and created an article on dishes done right. PartSelect partnered with Ghergich, Inc.
A graphic was created showing tips on loading a dishwasher, what items should be hand washed, and other dishwasher tips. Check out the graphic!
Which of these dishwasher tips are going to help you get dishes done right? Was anything a surprise for you?

My vacuum attachments and then a vinegar rinse are happening in my dishwasher today! #manicmonday
That’s a good idea! I’ve never done this, but even toys can be sanitized in the dishwasher.
Wow, I just learned a lot, and since my kitchen is starting to look like your photo, I better get off the computer and go try out some of these techniques!
That’s great that you found some new techniques to try! I’m off to work in my kitchen as well. I need to prepare dinner.
Love the inforgraphic! I had no idea that you could do so many other things with your dishwasher!
