Let’s take time for us. You and your significant other.
I read this article on Babble about why this guy’s wife comes before his children. One of his statements that stuck out to me was:
“before them, it was us; after them, it will be us.”
It reminds me how important it is to spend time with my husband. No matter what is going on in our lives, we need to make time for each other.
Below is one of my favorite quotes by Helen Keller. Even the simplest moments are significant in your relationship with your loved ones.
It’s so easy to get lost in the daily grind and forget to take the time to spend time with each other. It can be so easy to say that you don’t have the time to just sit down in the evening with each other because there are still so many things to get done before bed.
Whenever my husband and I get to relax in the evening after our girls have gone to bed, we like to watch one of our favorite shows and watch an episode or two.
